The Mountain Spa and the landscape of Val Lumnezia are in complete harmony - this is the core of the architectural concept. The U-formed space covered with terrain is the spa area with all the required functions, opening up to the main view of the mountains. The small Cafe building is the only element above the ground - recalls the small barn building standing now on the site, but in an abstract form. In scale, form and volume it resembles the traditional architecture of the area in a contemporary and abstract way. With slight movement of the terrain we create a visual barrier which blocks the view into the spa from the surrounding road, while the view can still be enjoyed from inside.

The main material is concrete - best suitable for the sculptural concept and for sustainability in this climate. Significant surfaces of glass allow as much natural light as possible. Interior stone claddings contribute to a natural feeling, wooden and bronze elements completing the harmony. Natural elements - the water of hot spring pools, natural greenery, views of the mountains, mountain air, the warmth of the sun or the flotation of the clouds and fog - are all very close and can be felt with all senses. Architectural elements of the building complex offer that one can feel hidden in nature and have the beautiful view of the mountains at the same time, while enjoying the open-air hot springs spa. The language of the building respects the characteristic of the valley, forms clear and serene spaces, remains in the background and allows the dominance of the alpine scenery.
